This is me, Philip.I am
25 years old and was born
and raised in Virginia. I
joined the Navy in January
of 1995 and since then I
have gone through a
rigorous training program
and now operate the nuclear
reactor on the USS Henry
M. Jackson, an Ohio-Class
submarine stationed out of
Bangor, Washington.
This is my beautiful wife, Michele,
born January 13, 1975. (She's probably
goin to kill me for using this picture
but....) Born in the great state of
Georgia, this sothern bell certainly is
sweeter than any peach I've ever seen.
She's the best thing that ever happened
to me and I call myself lucky just for
knowing her. I don't think I can ever tell
you all how happy my life has been
since she's been by my side. It is to
Michele that I dedicate this page.
I Will Love You Always!
One of the questions that Michele and I
are always getting asked is "How in the
world did the two of you meet?" When we
met Michele was living in Georgia and I
was stationed about five hours away in
Charleston, South Carolina. So how in the
world did these two souls meet? Well, if
you haven't already glance over to the
cartoon on the left and that should explain it
all. Michele and I met right here on the
internet. To be more specific, we met in a
chat room on AOL. You may think that
strange, but a chance meeting in a simple
chat room has led these two hearts on one of life's greatest adventures,
marriage! Michele and I spoke our vows on March 8, 1999 in the quaint
town of Gatlinburg, Tennessee. Unfortunately, this wedding was followed
by a period of seperation due to my transfer up here to the Pacific
Northwest. Michele and I were reunited later that year when I came back
to Georgia to see the birth of our precious daughter, Lara. (For more on
Lara refer to the Ladybug page.) After the birth, the Messner family was
finally all moved up to the state of Washington, where we have been living
ever since!
